COCA-COLA NIGHT RAINED OUT

CONCORD, N.C. – “Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines!”  The command was given, the Tim Marburger Honda Fast & Furious Fours rolled out for their warm-up laps and the rains came.  After several valiant efforts by the track crew to dry the track, it was decided at 8:50 PM under still full-wet conditions that there was not enough time remaining before the midnight curfew to get the track dry and run the scheduled events.  

Pit passes and grandstand tickets that were purchased will be honored Saturday June 21st during Independent Tribune Newspaper Night at the Races for The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.  June 21st is Ladies Night, and all ladies are being admitted for $1.00, so the ladies holding tickets for June 14th may use those tickets for admission on June 28th.  June 21st’s racing schedule includes 20-laps for the Tim Marburger Honda fast & Furious Fours, 30-laps for Coca-Cola Pure Stocks, 40-laps for The J R D Earthworks Limited Late Models, 75-laps for the Town & Country Ford Late Model Stock Cars and 25-laps for the Insurance Auto Auction Bootlegger Brigade.  Registration open at 2:00 PM, pit gates at 2:30, practice at 3:30, driver’s meeting at 5:15, grandstand box office open at 5:30.  The pre-race activities start at 7:10 PM and racing is scheduled for 7:30.

June 28th is USG Sheetrock Night at the Races and a special 50-lap feature is on the schedule for the Tim Marburger Fast & Furious Fours. Along with the traditional features for other divisions, The Insurance Auto Auction Bootlegger Brigade will be back in action.
